Christmas party at school

Traditionally, Dec is the month of parties for us. Beside having two boys' whose birthday falls in Dec, everyone is in the mood to celebrate and binge keke :)

Teacher M gave a crash course on the significance of Christmas.

Christmas party will not be complete with icons like Santa Claus and Santarina, and Ruldolph Reindeer ! No prize for guessing who is ho ho h0 Santa :)

Before the party starts, kids waiting in anticipation, and enjoying their own bantering.

Parents turn up in force to support LV and their kids :)

With so much food to go around, nobody should be hungry. You can be faulted for being greedy keke :p

Full of activities at every corner, food and handicraft.

Busy busy teachers, they are happy when kids are smiling :)

Kids are HAPPY ! Who would not be? Plenty of food, gifts, and toys and entertainment!

Our food and cookies taste best when we do it ourselves. Nevermind if the chocolate does not look nice, or if someone forget to wash hand, Parents will love it ! (forced smile)

We end the party with gift exchanges, every kid went home beaming. Thank you LV for organising this party. We had a lot of fun !

Angry birds have invaded Changi Airport !

If you are an Angry Bird fan, you must go down to Changi Airport T3.

We were there last Saturday for dinner, and we notice Christmas decorations in Changi were already in full swing. There is an Elves' workshop. Sorry no GingerBread to eat, or Presents to wrap. But you can see lollipops everywhere !

We have been seeing so many trees recently, Yi is asking why our Christmas Tree is not up yet.


Playgrounds (and sometimes telephones) never cease to amaze our kids !


Just follow the Green Merlion...

.. and you will find the Angry Birds' Globe. However, kids totally ignore Merlion and rushed to embrace Angry Birds. Maybe we can suggest to Changi to place one or two Life size models to shake and hug the kids !


You can imagine yourself throwing a boulder to demolish the PIG's sty !
(this is a camera angle trick, no real catapult+stones ok)

We were there last year, and this bouncing castle is definitely a crowd favorite. You just need to produce a receipt from Changi to participate. (seems like there is no minimum amount). Avoid weekends :p

Christmas at Sentosa Resorts World

Last Friday, we decided to checkout Sentosa Resort World's Christmas decorations. As you can tell, the floor is wet from an earlier downpour.

Same tree, different colours :)
You will not miss this hugh tree ! We heard there is another Giant at Vivo city.

Kids proceed to bully M&M and friends. Hope these decorations are child-damage proof :p

Imagine, sinking your mouth into the largest M& M or Cadbury ! Heaven.

At 9pm, we heard Fireworks. Must be from USS's Hollywood Afterhours.

We did not remember so much Mist around USS Globe when we pop by last round. Cool and mystifying.

Boon Xin likes to run inside the mist and play hide and seek !

Christmas Lights Up @ Orchard Road

Christmas is around the corner, and most shopping centres have Big Christmas trees and decorations to attract the crowd. SengkangBabies went down to Orchard road yesterday to see what is happening !


This is the first time we caught the Elephants :)
Anyone know why there are 162 Elephants in Singapore?

Ion Orchard is always a popular spot for visitors posing with the HUGH Christmas Tree.


If you look closely at the Snow Globes, you might see a running train :)

Arthur Christmas, recommended for familes

Yesterday, the boys caught Arthur Christmas. Throw away all traditional beliefs about Santa,
the reindeer, the sleigh, the elves. "Arthur Christmas" is a hi-tech version of Santa.

His factory is still at North Pole, but Santa and team is harvesting IT to
transform their "Logistics" every Dec 25th !


The fun starts, when someone realised one child did not get her present!
Ah Gong (Santa Grandpa) came into the picture and show the traditional way to deliver goods, with reindeer and sleigh, and maybe even dropping through the chimney ! They even got mistaken as UFO !


A heartwarming show with cute animations, we are recommending "Arthur Christmas" to families. At the end of the day, Santa is in the business of making kids happy :)

Daddy would like to take this opportunity to thanks DadsForLife and Qais for the tickets, the boys had a wonderful time (maybe all except Wen Yi, who pester Daddy to go home 1/2 way through ).. Hello to Kelvin and Nick too :)


ps.. we caught a sneak peep of Spiderman before our show starts, and if this is how 3D is heading in the future, more excitement and thrills await movie-goers ! You should see how Peter SWINGs and Dives around New York City. Fasten your seat-belt !

End of the day, it is not the venue or food which makes a party happening.
It is always the company of good friends who make a party lively!
