Mid Autumn festival

Mid Autumn festival is not complete without lanterns and sparklers.
We always tour our neighbourhood when the Full moon is up.

Wen Xin has grown up and can now carry her own lantern, and proudly too :)


Look at Wen Kang, so jubilant at his Doraemon lanterns.


1, 2, 3 let us follow the leader, and lit up the dark alleys.

Sparkler fun, Daddy playing with his rear-sync Flash again. Daddy and Mummy can draw "barb-wire circles" :p


Once a year, when parents allow their kids to play with "fire". We still have to remind our kids no playing of sparklers at home !

中秋节快乐 did you see the Round Round moon?

After a heavy afternoon shower, the moon came up and shine brightly tonight.

As we eat our mooncake and children play with their lantern, we remind them tonight is 八月十五, or Mid-autumn Festival (15th day of the 8th lunar month).


**from young, we were told not to point your finger at the moon, otherwise someone will snip snip your ear lobe ?
Truth or not, dear readers, please try and tell Daddy myth or real :p

嫦娥 Chang(2) Er(2), where are you?

It is a cloudy Mid Autumn night, and we spend the evening at Tua Koo's place.

And the afternoon rain did not help to give us a clear Bright moon.

So Daddy took another moon (Eclispe) from www.photoshopdemon.com
Daddy say this Moon is famous because of Heroes (what ?? @$%^)
