K-Pop fails

(cough cough)

Before Kpop fans wallop Daddy, we were trying to imply our own copycat choreography fails.
The real Kpop rocks, ok !


We will share with you why it is so difficult to dance and sashay in tune, Heh, we are not even singing yet ! So, when we are judging and laughing over X-factor performances, or even Sat's An(1) Pei(2) Na(4) variety shows, Daddy is laughing at himself :p

A lot of hardwork and sweat lies behind each "coordinated" hip and trust, it looks easy, but we know it is not ! Even Happy Feet is not easy , as we mimick a scene from 20s onwards.


SengkangBabies version.. Fail . Do give us sympathy points for effort, and the kids do look cute, right?
Look at Yi (just need to turn head left and right) and Xin (30s) trying their best to fit in haha !



Now, for the real cool stuff !!

LV K2 Graduation concert

Two Fridays ago, Learning Vision (LV) celebrated their K2 Graduation at Republic Poly. This is Boon Kang's D-Day, his final performance before going to Primary school.


Outside the audithorium, LV preschools all over Singapore showcase their artworks.


We will be treated to Lion King Musical today ( tickets are not free :p ). Individual schools will take turn to role-play the casts. Kang will be Zebra :)


We start off with each school parading their K2 kids, take a bow K2s, you are going to graduate after six years in preschool !


Concert 's theme for today is Zimba (why not Simba? )

Grassland, love the grass on the student's head !


Colourful props and costumes entertain parents, kids and teachers have put in a lot of effort.


In short, the Lion King story.

Majestic animals gather, love all the creative costumes (we even spotted elephant and cheetahs !). LV really bring out the African savanna !

At the end of the concert, who cares it is Simba or Zimba, we thoroughly enjoy the show. Even Boon Yee and Boon Xin behave themselves throughout the entire concert !


Zimba with his baby, as we watch the Golden sun rise, so will a new era descend :)


Grand Finale, that's it for K2 graduation ceremony. After all the countless hours of rehearsals and sweat, one final farewell.

Dear Teachers, we will be missing you. Thank you for taking care of us, and bearing with our tantrums. We would like to take this opportunity to express our appreciation to the teachers, for nurturing our kids.

Looney Tunes at Suntec City

Looney Tunes' Slyester, Tweety and Bugs will be entertaining the shopping crowds at Suntec City till end Dec. We were invited for a special preview two Fridays ago.


Even before the musical starts, kids were getting restless, and we had to rehearse a few moves to sing and jibe in tune with Loonies keke.

We found some friends at Looney's Musical, hello Heng Family, CheekieMunkie and Juliana.

When Looney Tune's STARs appear, all the children start cheering and claping their hands.

Kids posing for their Snowman shots. Both Xin and Yi enjoy the cartoon characters, Daddy thought they would be eager to shake hand with Slyester or Bugs.

Boon Xin make a quick U-turn when Tweety looks BIGGER than life haha. Maybe Boon Yi is stressed? He did not smile a lot :)



As a consolation, Boon Xin obliged Daddy with a few shots of Looney Tunes and friends again, from a safe distance away :p

The Big Shot season 2

The Big Shot is back, premiering on 14Sep2011, 9pm on Ch5.
This is a local reality TV show where contestants are put through a series of tests.



In Season 1, Daddy caught every episode, and it was fun to see how the contestants go through each week with their wits, passion and camera usage. They even need to use different systems (all Nikon of course) to edge out their peers.

The Big Shot offers an opportunity for viewers to learn new tricks about their camera and improve their photography skills. The winner even stands to win $20,000.

Disney On Ice

Today, Mummy treat the boys to Disney on Ice,
performing at Indoor stadium.

Beside our famous mice (Mickey and Minnie), we also enjoy Donald,
BuzzLightYears, Cinderella, and Incredibles.

Yi was a bit terrified of the "darkness", but he enjoy the show 100%.

Mummy mention Yi always murmur "Mickey Mickey".
Wei and Kang enjoy the skating, and their snacks.
