中秋节快乐 did you see the Round Round moon?
After a heavy afternoon shower, the moon came up and shine brightly tonight.
As we eat our mooncake and children play with their lantern, we remind them tonight is 八月十五, or Mid-autumn Festival (15th day of the 8th lunar month).
**from young, we were told not to point your finger at the moon, otherwise someone will snip snip your ear lobe ?
Truth or not, dear readers, please try and tell Daddy myth or real :p

Be yourself, be Happy, let there be no Regrets !
At certain stages of our life, we are accountable to our parents, spouses, children, employers, or employees. Sometimes, we might be trying to fit into someone's Expectation, when we perform our multiple "roles" in life.
Do we really enjoy what we are doing, or are we are trying to please someone?
Are we True to ourselves?
Daddy came across a sobering article from Bronnie.
She has worked as a palliative care giver before, and constantly encounters patients who are walking their last stages.
~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~
Five common "Regrets" alway appear from the patients :
1. I wish I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.
2. I wish I didn't work so hard.
3. I wish I'd had the courage to express my feelings.
4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.
5. I wish that I had let myself be happier.
~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~
Why is Daddy blogging about "death and regrets" today?
There is nothing morbid about death, but it is sad to pass-on with regrets :(
For the full article, please refer to Bronnie's link here -->
http://www.inspirationandchai.com/Regrets-of-the-Dying.html
Daddy is inspired and touched.
We should not wait until tomorrow, to accomplish what we can do today!
Let there be no Regrets, in the end.

Gold Coast Dream World - Day 6
After Movie World and Sea World, we visited DreamWorld on day 6.
We were soon imprisoned in some Wild Wild Western cowboy town.
As we are early, some of the rides are just warming up. But we can already hear people screaming when the "Giant-Drop" falls from 20 stories !!
Video : not for kids, and faint hearted
We pass by Outback adventure, and reptiles were lining up to take photo with us.
Australian Wildlife, with crocodiles, Koalas, and of course Kangaroos.
In Koala country, the Roos are free to roam around.
Video : touching the Kangaroos up close
We tried the Log-ride which looks family friendly. But nobody warned us it will get so wet !
Dreamworld's landscape. This place is hugh.
From the map, you will easily take one full day to cover DreamWorld.
Kids' world, "Nickelodeon". This is children's world.
With rides built on their favourite cartoon characters.
Dora and Sponge bob are popular here.
Video : Spongebob Square pants
Kids are free to try any rides, just make sure they got seat belts on!
They are having a whale of a time :)
Nai Nai rewarding the adventurous kids for a job well done.
Play, Hungry, eat, play, explore (repeat..). This is children's programme in Dreamworld.
You can remote control a truck or a alligator-speedboat.
The Claw looks scary enough, let alone when you are rotating 360 degrees high above !! Needless to mention, this monster was generating hugh amount of screams!!
Video : very risky claw !
We attempted some less-risky rides.
Daddy and Mummy decide to let Xin be shark bait !
Nai Nai had a hard time running after the kids.
Dreamworld is hugh, and with so many attractions, we lost track of kids on at least one occasion !!
Spongebob musical
Car rides, we are allowed to crash with this type of cars :)
No age restriction.
Video : Bang that car !
Crickey, we caught a 16 feet salt water croc. We are familier with "Crocodile Hunter" and "Animal Instinct", thus it was not difficult for us to manhandle this beast.
Rainforest Rampage, kid go wild within. Basically, we just collect balls, and aim at anything that moves. Daddy enjoyed ambushing the kids keke.
Video : enter at your own risk. Balls flying everywhere !
Train ride ! This locomotive is a Must when you visit DreamWorld.
Video : Do not miss this Train Ride
Tiger Island, this is where we learn about Tiger conservation.
This cats are Hugh and magnificent, unfortunately they are being hunted to extinction.
Video : tiger climb and jump
While Mummy and Daddy bring the bigger boys to faster and more challenging rides, Nai Nai bring her favourite grandson for safer rides hehe.
We have visited MovieWorld and Seaworld before coming to Dreamworld.
Maybe we got too many rides beforehand, so we are numb to more rides.
Video : Going Home
Daddy felt Dreamworld's activities would be more suitable for bigger kids (above 6 years old)
