Taiwan Day 5 - LeoFoo Resort 六福

* We broke Day 5 into two parts, (i) LeoFoo Amusement Park , and (ii) LeoFoo resort

We chose LeoFoo resort (六福) only for one reason, to see the wild African animals upfront. We knew this would be a roar for our kids, and we were not disappointed.

Leofoo Resort is only 30min from TaoYuan international airport, and 1 hour from Taipei city.

Room with a view, we upgrade to Congo Greenery, which has a full length window to peep into Safari compound. Kids were glued to Window once we got our room haha.

Even Daddy and Mummy were impressed by LeoFoo's African Safari theme.

From the outdoor bridge, we can come into close contact with our favorite giraffes.

Kids are happy, and that is an understatement !

Another angle of the Safari compound

The lemurs are highly sociable creatures, we love to watch them jump from rope to hut to tree !

Video : This is so cool !! Zebra and Giraffe by our window.

Our kids just went crazy over the roaming animals, and could have watch them for hours !

The buffet dinner offers a wide spread, and food is delicious. The deserts were simply marvelous.

..but Sleep is more important for someone else.
We were tired out after the morning's trip to Leofoo Amusement park.

When night falls, the animals get ready to snooze...

Resort hall and corridor are decorated with a African theme.

After 2D 1N (too short), we bid farewell to our African them resort.

If we have more time, we would have love to explore the inhouse activities.
Hotel room rate is on the high side, if you book directly, you will cost SGD$450 per night !

We got our F&E package from NamHo, and the rooms are cheaper, comes with dinner, and also Leofoo Themepark entrance. Click for Nam Ho itinerary-- > 5 Days 4 Nights Taipei /Leofoo Guanshi Resort F&E

** If possible, do not change your schedule in Taiwan, as Polo (or any local agent) will charge additional admin fees. We were naive when Nam Ho told us we can change our schedule ourselves with agent in Taiwan. **

  13. Hi Andy,
I am thinking of going on a guided tour to taiwan in march. Do u know which travel agency is SG is good for taiwan tours? Is namho ok?

    1. hi Kate, the SG travel agencies will hire local Taiwan agents for the tours. Even the best agency will have rotten tour guides, I cannot vouch for any agency. You have to compare the different itineraries, tripadvisor the hotels, and the price package.

I might only be able to value-add on Taipei and vicinity's attractions.
      cheers, Andy

  14. hi Andy,
We are from Sengkang too. Need your advice. If we visit Leofoo theme park first (will take HSR from Taipei to Hsinchu) before heading to leofoo resort, how long it takes for us to visit the theme park? 4 hours or 5 hours? The check-in time (resort) is 3pm. And I would like to know is there any in-house activities within resort? can we still browse around the in-house activities after check out at 12pm on following day. Coz we are thinking to take HSR back to Taipei. Thanks for your advice.
