Maybank Marina Bay Night walk 2010

To celebrate it's 50th years anniversary, Maybank organised Marina Bay Night walk 2010. 10,000 participants responded !

Proceeds will go to help needy families. Sengkangbabies and "Tan family" are happy to participate in Marina Bay's first mass Night Walk.

So last Saturday 03Oct2010, Yellow tshirts crowd Marina Promenade. Wow.

We collected our souvenirs , water, and balloons. The whole Marina area is like one Big Carnival!!

Flag off, at 1830 sharp. We shall assemble here again after two hours.

Daddy was thinking , do we really need two hours to cover Marina Bay?

We had fun playing along the way, with Tan Family's kiddos.

We have not step into Marina Bay Sands or Helix yet !!

So this trip offers us an opportunity to get closer to Singapore's new Marina icons.

7pm, the sky is getting dimmer. Shall we turn on some light-sticks?

We swamp Helix bridge, which is basking under the night sky.

Daddy liked the reflective panels on the roof.

We took a short break here, to soak in the Beautiful sights (MBS and Flyer).

The kids got creative with their lightsabers.

There are Q&A sections along the walk. Lucky winner stand to walk away with Australia Gold Coast tickets. Violet ambience is nice ! Mysterious and romantic !

We need another break (more for adults), but the kids remain energetic.

It is really fun to go 360 degree and back to our starting point.

We are revisiting some familier icons !

After two hours, we made it ! Perspiring and smelly, but we did it.

Kudos to the kids' stamina.

To celebrate, we went to StarBucks along Fullerton for some desert.

We should have a night walk every year !!
