Hard Rock Cafe with friends

Everyone recognise this flying car at Cuscaden road. Together with a few friends, we were invited for some food tasting at Hard Rock cafe (HRC) last week.

Daddy does not know how long HRC has been around in Singapore,
but that car seems to have been there for easily 20 years !

Be it for family, couple, or a group of friends, Hard Rock cafe has endear itself to customers. When we go on holidays, Hard Rock always feature on our itinerary, that is, before the kids pop out. Mummy loves to collect the guitar pins and momentos from each city.

As Natalie shares with us HRC's history in Singapore, we got a "JUMBO Combo", a bit of everything to make everybody happy and full. Love the home-made onion ring ! The nachos is nice but portion was too hugh, we could not finish it.

In case you are interested in our menu, do pop by HRC website.

Natalie insist we must try HRC's Chili Crab Dip. Apparently, this dish has caught on with HRC patrons and is one of the popular dish. It comes with the buns too, and your fingers will not get messy from the crab essence :)

We heard how local fare has evolve over the years at HRC, as some guest (maybe senior folks) prefer rice and noodles. Even our chef has been working here for 20 plus years !

We all know HRC serves burgers, steaks, the usual western fare. But if we thought Chilli-crab variation is surprising and delicious, wait till you hear about their Char Kway Teow !
(yup, everyone drop our jaws when we hear Mee Goreng and some other famous Singapore dishes are also on the menu haha)

Daddy is wondering how non Singaporeans and locals will take to it?
It is not oily, so do not expect any lard. Consider this a healthier version,
sort of sinful craving without the cholesterol !

Back to the regular western menu, we love the burger and succulent ribs :)

Ruting showing us how we should devour our fajitas :)

Dessert time, how can we leave without HRC's famous brownies? and Apple Crumbler

Daddy would like to take this opportunity to thanks Natalie and Chris for hosting us, we found out a few things which are otherwise unknown to the public :p

We got to learn that HRC is also involved in social work, and they sometimes host lunch for the less-privilege kids. To us, maybe HRC is ideal for that rock evening with your darling, but HRC is trying to promote itself as a ideal cafe for family get together too.
